The D.I.V.E.R. Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to protecting and rehabilitating our oceans and waterways while also supporting our U.S. veterans and first responders. Our mission is twofold: to preserve the fragile marine habitats that are essential to our planet’s health, and to empower individuals to connect with the therapeutic environment of the outdoors.
Founded by a group of individuals who have firsthand experience with the challenges faced by veterans and first responders, we understand the importance of mental health and finding purpose after service. We believe that the outdoors, especially through activities like diving and other water-based pursuits, can have a profound impact on mental health and wellbeing.
Through our initiatives, we aim to promote environmental sustainability and provide support to our brave men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country. Our programs include dive-certification for veterans and first responders free of charge, outings and events that bring communities together, and initiatives to remove trash from our waterways and keep our beaches clean.
At the D.I.V.E.R. Foundation, we believe that everyone has a role to play in protecting our planet and supporting those who have served our country. We are dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and our planet as a whole, and we hope that you will join us in our mission.
The D.I.V.E.R. Foundation works to help our oceans and waterways as well as our U.S. Veterans and first responders recover and rehabilitate.
We will partner with members in the community and all over the world to help protect, repair and maintain our waterways. The D.I.V.E.R. Foundation will introduce initiatives that removes trash from our waterways by diving our inlets, straining the marinas, and keeping our beaches cleaner. As a result, this will aid in preserving the fragile yet vital marine habitat.
We aim to do this by building an organization for veterans and first responders that facilitates a connection with the therapeutic environment that is the outdoors. The D.I.V.E.R. foundation will dive-certify veterans and first responders free of charge, as well as plan outings and events to bring veterans, first responders, and their community together, raising awareness to the very real mental health battle these brave men and women too often fight alone.
Please be aware that the D.I.V.E.R. Foundation does not provide medical advice or aid for mental health emergencies. If you or someone you know requires urgent assistance, please refer to our Mental Health Resources Page.
