Our Story

The story of the D.I.V.E.R. Foundation is one of passion, dedication, and a deep love for the outdoors and the brave men and women who serve our country and communities. It all began with four individuals – Tyler, Martin, Maureen, and Catrina – who shared a common goal: to create a resource that would improve mental health for those who serve their country and communities, as well as better the environment.

Tyler, Martin, Maureen, and Catrina were all lovers of the outdoors and had experienced firsthand the healing power of nature. They understood the importance of protecting and preserving our planet’s natural resources and wanted to create an organization that would make a positive impact on both the environment and the people who serve our country and communities.
As they discussed their ideas, they quickly realized that diving was a great way to connect veterans and first responders with the outdoors. Diving provides a sense of weightlessness and freedom that is difficult to find on land. It also allows divers to explore the vast and beautiful world that exists beneath the ocean’s surface.
They knew that diving could be a powerful tool for improving mental health and decided to create an organization that would provide dive certification to veterans and first responders free of charge. They wanted to remove any financial barriers that might prevent these individuals from experiencing the therapeutic benefits of diving.
And so, the D.I.V.E.R. Foundation was born. Tyler, Martin, Maureen, and Catrina worked tirelessly to establish the organization, recruiting volunteers, securing funding, and building partnerships with other organizations and businesses. They wanted to create an organization that was sustainable and would make a lasting impact on both the environment and the people it served.
The D.I.V.E.R. Foundation’s mission quickly evolved to include protecting and preserving our oceans and waterways. They recognized that the health of our planet was essential to the overall health and well-being of all its inhabitants, and that preserving our natural resources was a critical component of their mission.
Today, the D.I.V.E.R. Foundation is a thriving organization that has made a positive impact on countless lives. They have removed thousands of pounds of trash and other pollutants from our waterways, improving the health of our planet and its inhabitants. They hope to provide dive certification to hundreds of veterans and first responders, allowing them to experience the healing power of nature.
Tyler, Martin, Maureen, and Catrina continue to work tirelessly to grow the organization and expand its reach. They are grateful for the support of the community and the many individuals who have contributed to the success of the D.I.V.E.R. Foundation.
Their story is a testament to the power of passion, dedication, and a deep love for the outdoors and the brave men and women who serve our country and communities. The D.I.V.E.R. Foundation serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration for those who seek to make a positive impact on the world.
